Green Chroma
Between 2018 and 2021, I drafted a series of texts in Spanish and Catalan applying the logic of monochrome paintings to writing. In 2024 I translated these texts into English for a bilingual edition which was titled “The Chroma Series” (Selva Oscura, 2025). I will be reading the first of these texts live in a presentation which is both a book launch and a poem performance . Like chroma screens, this text is a surface onto which anything can be projected.
- Quim Pujol
Quim Pujol (1978) works across the fields of poetry, performance, and contemporary art. His most recent live pieces are “Variety of varieties” (2022), and “Contorsionist Poem” (2024). He has participated in exhibitions such as “Interval. Sound Actions” at the Antoni Tàpies Foundation, “Visceral Blue” at La Capella, and “entre, hacia, hasta, para, por, según, sin” at the EACC. Together with Ixiar Rozas, he edited the volume on affective theory “Ejercicios de ocupación” (Ediciones Polígrafa, 2015) and is the author of “Other Forms of Presence” (Varamo Press, 2024) and “The Chroma Series” (Selva Oscura, 2025). He has curated “La Estrategia Doméstica” (2009–2010), the Secció Irregular at the Mercat de les Flors (2011–2015), and the PICNIC Sessions at CA2M (2023). He currently curates the Live Arts Sâlmon Festival.
